Happy 28th Birthday Daddy!!!

John's Birthday was the 17th. We celebrated with some yummy cake on the 15th as a Father's Day/ Birthday celebration.
The candles almost set the house on fire. LOTS of candles, hahahahaha.

We love you, Daddy! Happy 28th Birthday!

Welcome to our blog, John and I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
A little about us.....
John and I, Rachel, were married on October 9th, 2004. We were blessed to have a short engagement of 21 days because John was to be deployed soon after our wedding. He spent a year in Afghanistan and came back home safely.
We are also very blessed to have a beautiful baby girl, Heidi. She amazes us everyday! God has blessed us in a million ways, but she is one of the best!
A bit about my wonderful husband....
John is a Captain in the US Army, currently with the AL National Guard. He is also a graduate of the University of Montevallo with a degree in Bio-Chemistry. He is a wonderful Christian husband and father and his baby girl looks just like him. :) Luckily he makes a pretty baby girl!
A bit about me...
I've been blessed to be able to be stay at home mom , but in my "previous" life I worked as a Catering Sales Manager at a hotel. I graduated from The University of Alabama with a degree in Restaurant and Hospitality Management. But I hopefully will stay home with my sweet baby for a while. Then I'm thinking about going into something totally different! Still waiting on God to lead me to it.:)
