To Crawl or not to Crawl....

Well , Heidi can now get on all fours, get one leg going and.....fall over!:)
She can sit up really well now and is trying to crawl. Sometimes she will kind of inch-worm her way to what she wants. It's all very amusing. She has also become very aware of Voilet the cat and looks like she is trying to figure out how to get to her!

The wedding!

We had a wonderful wedding this past weekend. Pam looked lovely and Dad cleaned up pretty good too! The ceremony was very nice and all the kids behaved great! I will hopefully have some of the ceremony pics up soon. These pics are from the reception. We had a great time and it was so nice to see everyone. We just wish we had more time to spend with each person. I think Heidi really enjoyed it but was sooooo tired by the end. We headed home after the reception and she was passed out before we got out of town!
This is Mrs. Vicki and one of her adorable grandsons. She has so many I'm sorry to say I'm not sure which one this matches up too!It was great to see all the "Edwards Clan" there. We will hopefully be able to get together again soon and be able to spend so more time together.
Two of a kind! Grandmother Earle and Heidi in their red dresses.
Yes, Heidi, Mr. Don is pretty funny.
Heidi and Mrs. Connie. Heidi loves blond hair!
Brooke, Me and Heidi. Brooke, thanks for helping watch Heidi during the ceremony.:)
Daddy with Heidi, showing her feet to Mrs Jonlee! Heidi started the evening with tights and shoes, but they didn't make it.
Our cousins, Marty , Peyton, and Lily Grace. Lily Grace was so cute in her pink dress.
Me and Heidi taking a break in the brides room.

Naptime, Shmaptime.....

Okay, so we need to get Heidi to nap without taking a bottle.
I know, I know....all you by-the-book mom's out there are thinking, " OH NO not the bottle! She must learn to self-sooth herself to get to sleep!" Well that didn't quite work here.
We've realized it was an issue for a while now. At first, it was she wasn't eating enough because she would fall asleep eating. Then, it was that is the ONLY way she would go to sleep, even in the car. And now it is, she is finishing the milk before she falls asleep. And yes, I know, it's bad for her teeth to fall asleep with a bottle.
So all that said to say this:
This morning she was drinking the milk, was getting very sleepy and decided it's playtime again! So we sat up and played a while. Then she decides she wants the milk again. OK. So back to the milk, so she finishes it off and is very drowsy. So I think, " Ok, here it is! My chance to lay her down drowsy and she will get herself to sleep!" HA. So I lay her down in her crib, she immediately becomes wide awake. So I pick her back up and we rock. And Rock. And rock. And rock some more.
Well after about 30 minutes SHE FALLS ASLEEP. I kid you not she fell asleep. AND I laid her down in the crib and she stayed asleep.
So we will try again with this rocking thing this afternoon. I know she's still not excactly getting herself to sleep, but its better than the bottle. Let's hope it's not a fluke. :)

Fry Daddy...

I hope you all are having a great day! Nothing very interesting is happening around here lately so I thought I'd post some silly pictures. One's of John cooking up some burgers, and the other is Heidi trying to lick the bowl clean:) Ignore any mess you see in the backgrounds!
