Nine Month Checkup

I can hardly believe it but we went for our Nine month checkup today for Heidi. She is growing up so fast!
Everything went very well. She missed her morning nap so she was a bit restless.
She is up to 17 lb 5 ounces (25%) and 27 inches(25%). However she is showing her Cottingham side in that her head is 17 3/4 inches (75%) !
She wasn't supposed to have any shots this time but we delayed a HepB shot from the last time so we could get a flu shot instead as they didn't want to give more than 5 at a time!
Anyway, this time we only had one shot and she yelled for a minute then went straight to Daddy and all was well again:)

When Daddy Feeds Heidi....

Ok so this is what happens when John feeds Heidi.... What a mess! Of course, Heidi thought it was great. We had an extra long bath time this night and she still had pasta sauce on her ear the next day. Daddy is now banned from everything but Cheerios.

A Tooth, Finally!

Heidi is finally getting her first tooth! It's just a little ridge, but it if she decides to chew on you, watch out! That little tooth is sharp! We are hoping this is what has been messing up her naptime and waking her up at night. I, of course, cannot get a picture of the tooth cause as soon as you get anything close to her mouth she wants to chew on it.

Happy St Patrick's Day!

Ok, so I know St Patricks Day was this past Monday, but we're busy people:) This is the cutest little dress. It had Shamrocks all over it. Notice Heidi is also trying to drag the diaper with her as she tries to crawl off the bed...

That's one Cool Chick...

Found some sunglasses for Heidi. They velcro around her head. I'm trying to convince her to keep them one for more than 10 seconds:)

The Baby Cage

Ok, so Heidi is REALLY on the move now! I couldn't even turn my back without trying to crawl over, around or across something. So, on the way back from C'ville we stopped at Babies r Us and got this nifty device. It's actually called a play yard or some such but it reminds me of those crazy cages! Anyway she has lots of room to crawl around and can pull up on it and doesn't seem to hate it. And at least now I can go to the bathroom without her trying to climb out the window!

Ok so it has been a while since I posted so there is gonna be a few:) John's been out of town so I've been crazy busy! However I did get to go visit My Dad and Pam who graciously kept Heidi so I could have a wonderful lunch with my girls. We went to PF Changs and had a great meal and even better conversation. We went shopping afterward and I got some great deals at the Carter's outlet! I was so nice to have some grownup time, but it was the longest I'd been away from my sweet baby so I was ready to head back by the time we were through shopping:)

HEIDI IS ON THE MOVE!!!

Heidi is on the move folks! She is crawling! This is a video clip of her crawling about 3 feet. Now she's pretty slow and it's not real good form, but she's moving! And in my completely biased opinion is the cutest thing ever! It is only about 30 seconds so it shouldn't take to long to load.
