Don't trust the pudding....

Don't trust the pudding at our house. That is unless you don't mind some extra flavor!

Heidi's First Haircut and Other pics...

Our sweet neighbors kept Heidi one evening and it was one of their daughters 14th birthday. They sent Heidi back with cupcakes. They said Heidi was the hit of the party and thought it was for her!

Giving Daddy some love...

We finally got a Heidi a "big girl" bed and she LOVES it. More room for her toys i guess!

Super Woman Heidi and her new haircut. Just got the back trimmed but it looks much less stringy!

Angela's Wedding Fun

Road Trip to Texas!

We went to TEXAS! John's sister Erica was getting married so we headed out to Brownsboro, TX. It's near Tyler, TX. We had a great time visiting with John's Dad and family. It was the first time for me and Heidi to meet them. We must visit again!

Daddy and Heidi at the Tyler Zoo. They had a very nice zoo, but was H-O-T !

Happy Easter!

John and I decided to stay home for Easter this year and had a really wonderful day. The weather turned out beautiful here and our trees are finally starting to get some leaves. All this new life is a wonderful reminder of our Risen Lord!
I cooked a big lunch for my little crew. We had ham, green beans, potato cassarole, cream corn, rolls and of course, jell-o salad! It wouldn't feel like a celebration around here without some! John said the ham was as good Grandmother Earle's, so I was quite proud of myself! Of course I made a enough to feed half an army, so we will be seeing those "Old Friends" for a few more days!

Baby #2 Updates...

Well I'm finally feeling Baby #2 move around! I've thought I felt it for a week or so, but so much stuff is moving around in there ya just aren't sure. But now...it is most surely the baby! So that is exciting. I think the weeks after you start feeling better and before you feel the baby move are mentally tough! Feeling it kick around in there is very reassuring...well at least until the kicks start keeping you awake. ;)
Also we go back on to the doc on Friday the 24th. We are doing the "big" ultrasound that appt where they check all the measurements of the baby. AND most excitingly, we should find out the sex of the baby! YEA! I am ready to get rolling on the new baby's room and feel like I'm at a stand still until we find out!
We'll keep you all posted!

Go Sox!

Funny Girl

While John was Iowa he found these galoshes . They are so sweet. She wears them all the time now. As you can see in the pic she has them on over her PJ's and with her tutu!

Heidi LOVES to "help" cook. She actually does pretty well. This is from this morning we made raisin bran muffins. This is her stirring the eggs with her "wisp" (wisk). My little chef!

Clothes? That's crazy talk...

So Heidi has figured out how to take off her clothes. I have gone to get her numerous times out of her crib and she will have no shirt, or no pants or both. She thinks this is pretty great. Well the other morning I got her up and she had taken her pants off, BUT put them back on again. Inside out and backwards. She was so proud. I just had to take a picture.

SNOW! and the Big Water

We had a rare snow day here in Alabama. When we have snow here you better get out in it right then because it's usually gone in a few hours! Heidi and I were visiting in Centreville so we got to play in the snow at Grandaddy's house. Fortunately I did pack Heidi's big coat just in case, good thing! When we got back here to our house our porch was still covered in snow. It didn't melt until Wednesday!

Heidi waking up to SNOW! She has been in snow before but obviously did not remember it!
We don't have any snow shoes or rain boots so I put sandwich baggies over her shoes to keep them dry. heheheShe would walk a few steps then fall over and giggle. She was so bundled up I had to pick her up:)

Here are a couple of pictures of the Cahaba River behind Dad's house. This was the same day as the snow in the afternoon. The water is usually about 10 feet or so lower. Heidi would look at and go, Ohhhh, Big Water!

New Ultrasound Pictures

I've had these for a week or so, just haven't updated the blog!
These are ultrasound pictures of Baby Hubbard #2! This is at about 11 weeks.
You can see the outline of it's leg and body better in these. The pictures are sideways though, I can't seem to rotate pics when I scan them, so Baby is curled up and is facing downwards. It was so neat to see it in real time swimming around in there! I probably won't have any more pictures until about 19-20 weeks.
Enjoy!
